I think if you are a person with a stand, when you release those memos, you have to persecute them or if you just simply don't like the tortures, you can just simply stop it silently without hurting the CIA who has sacrificed a lot for the safety of USA. My point is, what's his motive for releasing those memos? I personally believe that it should not have been released because he's endangering the US's interest.
