Review:: 'Opening a whole new world. This book, of many I've written in my 16yrs in IT, is easily the most elucidating. It takes a seemingly boring subject, searching, and by teaching the subtleties ans nuances of Google's published APIs, rich query syntax, and gi-normous amount of index data, shows us some paradigm-shifting ways to leverage Google's powerful and fast engine to accomplish tasks you might not even associate with searching. Wow.
Review:: 'Not for the casual Googler This book is a great reference for those wanting to know the nuts and bolts of what you can do with Google. It's one of those books you know you will have to keep replacing with the next edition because you won't want to miss out on what is coming up next. That said, I'm a geek. I don't think many non-geeks would be interested in the book. Especially if they just want to use the hacks and not create their own.
Review:: 'Advanced The average user will get very little out of this. The advanced user will benefit greatly. If you are just some guy who uses Google a couple times a day, don't bother. If you are into high-teck serious queries, and are an expirienced computer user, this book will be invaluable.
