- Review:: 'Universally applicable! This is one of my favorite books. It is geniusly simple, respectful and powerful. I was surprised to find out that I can easily apply the 3 principles in almost every relationship. So many people around deserve to be praised and taught a lesson and it is very important HOW you will do it because the final result can be very positive or just the opposite. It is a very valuable book which is very well written and is a fast read. I also highly recommend the other books from the One Minute Manager series because every book has a lot to offer and they will be especially helpful if you are in a business environment.

Our companies don't reward us for managing, but this is precisely what helps people to perform. I bought this book 13 years ago, and I still enjoy reading it.
- Review:: 'Simplistic but effective. The tools the authors advocate in this book are effective and easy to work with in any organization. They are simplistic but surprisely effective. They are not a silver bullet for all the ills of an organization. However if practiced, they will lead to a better work environment. As with many management tools, the policy advocated in this book are not a cure for all organizational difficulties. In organizations that don't care for their workers, this policy would not work. Organizations using only this method will not become more profitable. This is just one of many tools a manager should use in leading his/her organization.
- Review:: 'Nice book good helpful straight forward tips My first real manager pointed me in the direction of this book, and you know what it's helpful. Offering some nice tips on how to make people feel important. One tip in the book about touching people on the elbow or shoulder really adds something to a quick exchange. Nothing earth shattering here but if you are new to managment or want to brush up on some concepts before going on a first interview for a managment job this is a nice read.

It sets the standard because it is affordable and extremely useful in geographic exercises. In truth, it is primarily a North American atlas, but that is because it is written for and marketed to North Americans. There are still more than enough maps of other world regions to assist you in Geography 101 or to assist you in monitoring the world news. Granted, an intense study of total world geography would require an additional atlas. That said, I purchased this atlas for a geography course in which it was instrumental. Since then, I have used it in more advanced geography courses and in my daily life. While I would prefer it to be printed in a bit larger format, this size is more affordable to students. I will keep this atlas to assist in lifelong learning.
